| Title | Eve of Milady Wedding Dress (as seen on "Say Yes to the Dress") | ||||
| Description | Dress Details This was my dream dress! I purchased the gown at Kleinfeld with the help of Sarah and Randy from TLC's "Say Yes to the Dress". (Episode continues to air on TLC and can be seen on youtube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HenbHPz-leE) The dress is also going to be featured in Randy Fenoli's new book that is expected to be released in September 2011. The gown is in perfect shape. It has been spot cleaned, steam cleaned and pressed and remains hanging in the Kleinfeld bag. The antique silk has an amazing hue that sparkles in the sun and under evening lights. The crystals and pearls that adorn the bodice are the same tone as the dress with adds to the elegance of the gown (some dresses have a different colour embellishment that makes them look cheap). The skirt is adorned with lace, trimmed with the same crystals and pearls, that falls from the bodice in 6 areas on the gown. The back of the gown has a natural bustle with a crystal-adorned bow. Eve of Milady wedding gowns are created with all the grandeur and elegance a bride could possibly want. Best known for their amazing ball gowns, Eve of Milady does not disappoint with any of their beautiful creations. The bodice on Eve of Milady couture wedding gowns are one of the crowing jewels; fitting like a dream and flattering always. Most Eves are created with their signature dropped waist which dips slightly at the small of the back giving the bride who wears it a remarkable and enviable shape. I have treasured this gown and I never thought I would sell it. But I am looking to purchase a grand piano. My gown will be transformed from one thing of beauty to another. I have many more photos of the gown from the wedding, Kleinfeld and from the episode. Please contact me for further information. Dress Alterations The bodice of the gown was unaltered so you have the room to both take in and let out. The gown was given a french bustle that was raised in 9 places. The gown didn't even need hemming but they took it up just a little at the toe to allow for easier walking. Also, I am small chested to I had cups sewn into the bodice but they could be easily removed without any damage or change to the shape of the gown. I still have the original fitter's notes with measurements and descriptions so that you can compare if needed. I can scan it and sent it to you. Preservation Method The gown is in perfect shape. It has been spot cleaned, steam cleaned and pressed and remains hanging in the Kleinfeld bag. Location Orillia, Ontario, Canada Shipping I am willing to pay shipping costs up to $50 within Canada or the US.
